Before applicants can automatically book meetings with you, each interviewer must connect their calendar and configure their availability inside Augusta.
If you're conducting virtual meetings, you'll also need to connect your preferred video conferencing platform.

Before You Begin
Before you can configure your calendar, you must first be marked as an Interviewer on your Augusta account.
If you haven't already been assigned as an interviewer, ask your Augusta account administrator to update your user permissions.

Connect Your Calendar
- Sign in to your Augusta Dashboard.
- Click the Interviews tab.

Select Settings.
- Scroll to the Connected Accounts section.
Choose your calendar provider:
- Google Calendar
- Microsoft Office 365 Calendar
Click Connect and follow the prompts.
Important: When prompted, allow all requested permissions. These permissions allow Augusta to keep your calendar synchronized and prevent booking conflicts.
Tip: Once your calendar is connected, you can check for calendar conflicts that would prevent candidates from booking meetings with you by clicking "Check calendar availability."
Why Connect Your Calendar?
Connecting your calendar allows Augusta to:
- Prevent applicants from booking over existing meetings or events marked as Busy
- Automatically place booked meetings on your calendar
- Sync meeting updates, cancellations, and reschedules
- Keep your availability up to date
If you use multiple calendars, you can also choose which calendars Augusta should check for scheduling conflicts.
Once connected, click Save.
Set Your Availability
Scroll to the Your Availability section.
This is where you'll configure your general working hours.
We recommend making your availability reflect your normal work schedule.
Example:
Monday–Friday
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Don't worry about blocking lunches, internal meetings, vacations, or other calendar events here. Augusta will automatically read your connected calendar and prevent applicants from booking during any times marked as Busy.
Public Holidays
You can also enable:
Mark public holidays as unavailable
When enabled, Augusta automatically blocks major public holidays from your booking availability, helping prevent applicants from scheduling meetings on days your office is closed.
Connect Your Video Meeting App (Optional)
If you'll be conducting virtual screenings, interviews, or orientations, connect your preferred video conferencing platform.
Augusta supports:
- Zoom
- Google Meet
- Microsoft Teams
- Augusta Video
Inside the Connected Accounts section:
- Click Connect next to your preferred platform.
- Follow the authorization prompts.
- Allow all requested permissions.
Once connected, Augusta will automatically generate meeting links for virtual bookings and include them in applicant confirmations and reminder messages.
