Sometimes plans change—and that's okay.

Augusta allows your team to quickly reassign upcoming interviews to another interviewer without asking the applicant to reschedule. This helps keep your hiring process moving and ensures qualified candidates still get interviewed as planned.

When Should You Reassign an Interview?

Reassigning interviews is helpful when:

• An interviewer is unexpectedly out sick or unavailable.
• Someone has a scheduling conflict or emergency.
• Your team is experiencing a spike in applicant volume and needs additional interviewing support.
• A backup interviewer or manager wants to help conduct interviews during busy hiring periods.
• You need to balance interview workload across multiple recruiters.

Tip: If your agency regularly has multiple interviewers conducting meetings, consider using Round Robin Scheduling to automatically distribute interview bookings across your team. You can learn more about Round Robin here.

How to Reassign an Interview

1. From your Augusta dashboard, click Interviews.
2. Locate the upcoming interview you want to reassign.
3. Under Reassign To, select the interviewer who will conduct the meeting.

4. Type in the reason for reassigning the interview and toggle ON "I have confirmed the interviewer is available"
   • Note: We automatically bypass any calendar availability on the team member's account you are reassigning the interview to. 
   • 
5. The interview is immediately reassigned, and the newly assigned interviewer will receive the booking.

Before You Reassign

Before assigning an interview to another team member, make sure they have:

• An Interviewer role within Augusta.
• Their calendar connected.
• Their meeting availability configured.
• Their preferred video meeting platform connected (if conducting virtual interviews).

Using Reassignments with Round Robin

Some agencies prefer to have backup interviewers available without including them in automatic Round Robin scheduling.

Those interviewers can enable:

✓ Skip round-robin assignment. This interviewer is only available for manual assignment.

This allows them to stay available for manual interview reassignments while keeping your primary recruiters responsible for automatic bookings.
