If a recruiter leaves your team or someone new is taking over interviews, you can quickly transition interviewer responsibilities to another Augusta user.
The key is making sure the new interviewer has the correct access, completes their scheduling setup, and is assigned to the appropriate hiring stages.
Step 1: Add the New Interviewer
Go to Profile → Manage Users and add the new team member to your Augusta account.
Make sure they are assigned the Interviewer role. This allows them to be assigned to screenings, interviews, orientations, and other automated meetings within your hiring stages.

Step 2: Have the New Interviewer Complete Their Scheduling Setup
Each interviewer has their own scheduling settings.
The new interviewer should:
- Connect their Google or Outlook calendar
- Set their meeting availability
- Connect their video meeting app, if applicable
Augusta uses these settings to determine when the interviewer can receive automated meeting bookings.

Step 3: Update Your Hiring Stage Assignments
Next, review your Hiring Stages and assign the new interviewer to the meetings they will conduct.
For example, they may be responsible for:
- Screenings
- Interviews
- Orientations
If multiple interviewers are assigned to the same hiring stage, Augusta can use Round Robin scheduling to distribute bookings across the team.

Step 4: Remove the Previous Interviewer
Once the transition is complete, return to Manage Users and remove the Interviewer role from the previous team member or update their account access as needed.
Important: If the previous interviewer already has upcoming meetings booked, review those meetings before removing their access and reassign them to another team member as needed.
