Once connected, you can create, edit, and manage your job postings inside Augusta, while leveraging Indeed's recruiting platform to reach more caregivers.

What Does the Augusta x Indeed Integration Do?

Augusta's Indeed integration is built around Augusta Smart Posts, allowing your agency to manage jobs from one central location while automatically publishing them to Indeed.

Once connected, Augusta can:

Automatically publish your Smart Posts to Indeed
Sync job updates made in Augusta to Indeed
Send applicant disposition data back to Indeed to improve candidate matching
Support Indeed's latest ATS integration features and platform updates
Enable free Indeed job posting through Indeed's ATS integration
Support either Augusta Smart Post Apply or Indeed Apply
Allow you to sponsor your Augusta Smart Posts directly through Indeed

This helps reduce duplicate work while ensuring your recruiting process stays aligned with Indeed's latest platform enhancements.

Before You Get Started

Before connecting your Indeed account, you must first complete your Augusta Smart Posts setup.

This includes:

Creating your Augusta Smart Posts
Updating your website's Careers page to display your Smart Posts

This is required because Indeed expects the jobs published through Augusta to match the jobs displayed on your website.

Your Smart Posts also automatically support Google for Jobs, helping increase your recruiting visibility beyond Indeed.

How to Connect Your Indeed Account

Inside your Augusta Dashboard:

Click Smart Posts
Select the Indeed Settings tab

Complete the following fields.

Career Site URL

Enter the URL of your Careers page where your Augusta Smart Posts are displayed.
This allows Indeed to verify that your jobs match the positions shown on your website.

Indeed login

Connect your agency's Indeed Employer Account to Augusta:

Select Log in with Indeed and sign in to your agency's Indeed Employer Account.
Review the requested permissions, allow all permissions, and click Continue.
Select Confirm account to complete the connection.

Connecting your Indeed account allows Augusta to access important information about how your Smart Posts are performing on Indeed, including:

Job status: See whether your Smart Posts are active, flagged, or removed on Indeed.
Indeed performance: Connect Indeed job performance and spend data with applicant and hiring outcomes in Augusta, helping your team better understand metrics such as cost per hire.

Indeed Account Owner Email

Enter the email address for the Owner of your Indeed Employer account.
You can find this by visiting: https://account.indeed.com/o/users
Copy the email address marked with the Owner star into Augusta.

Indeed Source Name

Enter your organization's Indeed company name.
You can find this by visiting: https://employers.indeed.com/employer-settings/organization
Copy your Indeed organization name into Augusta.

Save Settings & Inform Augusta

After completing these fields, click Save Indeed Settings.

Then email hello@augusta.care.

Our team will verify your settings and confirm everything is correctly configured before enabling automatic publishing to Indeed.

Auto-Post Jobs to Indeed

Once your account has been verified, turn on: Auto-post jobs to Indeed

Your Augusta Smart Posts will now automatically publish to Indeed whenever you create or update jobs inside Augusta.

Choose Your Apply Method

Augusta's Indeed integration supports two application experiences:

Augusta Smart Post Apply
Indeed Apply

Both methods keep applicants connected to Augusta. Regardless of which option you choose, applicants still flow into your Augusta dashboard, are screened using your Augusta Qualification Criteria, and move through your existing Augusta workflows and integrations.

The primary difference is the candidate's application experience and where they complete their application.

Apply Method	What to Expect
Augusta Smart Post Apply	Candidates leave Indeed and complete the application through your Augusta-powered Careers page, where they can learn more about your agency, job opportunity, benefits, and employer brand before applying.
Indeed Apply	Candidates remain on Indeed and complete their application directly through Indeed. Augusta receives and processes the application behind the scenes.

Our current customer data shows that Indeed Apply generally generates more applicant volume, while Smart Post Apply currently has a higher applicant-to-hire rate.

Neither method is universally better. The strongest starting point depends on your current recruiting goals and where you need the most support.

This happens regardless of whether you use:

Augusta Smart Post Apply
Indeed Apply

For example, Augusta can send signals as applicants progress through statuses such as interviewed, rejected, hired, or onboarded. These outcomes help Indeed better understand which applicants are a strong fit for your agency and can support improved candidate matching over time.

You do not need to use Indeed Apply for Augusta to send applicant outcome data back to Indeed. Both apply methods support this through Augusta’s Indeed integration.

More Free Job Visibility

According to Indeed's Free Job Posting Policy, employers posting directly on Indeed are limited to three free job postings per month in many countries.

This limitation does not apply to jobs published through approved ATS integrations like Augusta.

That means Augusta customers can continue publishing Smart Posts through Indeed's ATS integration without being subject to Indeed's monthly free posting limit.
