This guide walks you through how to launch Augusta Smart Posts on your agency’s website and connect them to your Indeed employer account so you can begin sourcing caregivers through Augusta.

It's super easy. It only takes 15 minutes to get this started:
- Create an Augusta Smart Post
- Update Your Careers Page with Augusta Smart Posts
- Connect your Indeed Employer Account to Augusta
- Close out caregiver job postings from other sources and wait for Augusta to connect your account and push jobs to Indeed
- Sponsor your Smart Post jobs directly on Indeed
1. Create an Augusta Smart Post
- Log in to your Augusta Dashboard
- Click the Smart Posts tab
- Click New Smart Post to begin creating your first job post
- Follow this step-by-step tutorial (more details here)
📌 Tip: It is important to create at least one Smart Post before your website is updated so there’s no lapse in job openings.
2. Update Your Careers Page with Augusta Smart Posts
To add your Augusta Smart Posts to your website’s Careers page, you’ll need to:

Place the Smart Post script within the <body> tags of the HTML at the top of your website's Careers page.
- Where is the script? You may get your Smart Post script via your Augusta dashboard > Smart Posts > Indeed Settings and copy the code.

Remove any other external application links or call-to-action buttons on the page, similar to how it looks on one of our reference customers' websites here.

If you have a website team, you can cc hello@augusta.care with the request so we can assist in implementing the script on your website. Here's our recommended email template:

We're using Augusta and would like to update our website’s Careers page to use the Smart Posts tool. Please add the script below within the <body> tags at the top of the page and remove any other external application links or CTA buttons.

3. Connect your Indeed Employer Account to Augusta
To allow your Augusta Smart Post jobs to appear in your Indeed employer account (for sponsorship), you need to connect the two systems. This is done only once, and then you’re set for all jobs you post in the future!
📌 IMPORTANT STEP: Once you have updated your Indeed Settings, please email hello@augusta.care so we can help expedite the integration for your account
4. Close Out Other Caregiver Job Postings
To comply with Indeed’s job posting policies, you must close out all caregiver job postings from other sources, including:
- Any ATS platforms you’re using to post your caregiving jobs (e.g., Hireology, Apploi)
- Jobs posted manually on Indeed.
💡 Heads-up: If you're working with a third-party marketing company that posts jobs on your behalf, be sure to let them know to pause or remove any active caregiver job listings as well.
This ensures Augusta Smart Posts are prioritized in search and avoids any risk of duplicate job listings. Learn more about Indeed’s posting policies
Within 24 to 48 hours of verifying your information and sending it to Indeed, your Smart Post jobs will appear inside your Indeed employer account. You’ll be CC’d on all communication with Indeed during this process.
☺️ Be patient — Indeed refreshes their job feed every 24 to 48 hours.
5. Sponsor Your Augusta Smart Posts on Indeed
Once jobs appear in your Indeed dashboard, you can sponsor them directly:
- Go to your Augusta Dashboard > Smart Posts
- Select a job
- Scroll to the bottom and click Sponsor job on Indeed
- You’ll be taken directly to the posting inside your Indeed Employer Account

🛠 Troubleshooting Tip:
If the job doesn’t open on Indeed:
- Make sure you’re logged into the correct Indeed account
- If it still doesn’t appear, contact hello@augusta.care
