Augusta's Indeed integration supports both Indeed Apply and Smart Post Apply, giving customers control over how candidates apply to their Augusta Smart Posts on Indeed.

When Indeed Apply is enabled through Augusta, candidates can complete their application directly on Indeed while continuing to flow into Augusta and through your existing recruiting workflow.

📌 Important: Indeed Apply should be enabled through your Augusta Indeed Settings so applications continue flowing correctly into Augusta.

Enabling Indeed Apply directly through Indeed will disconnect the job from the Augusta x Indeed integration.

Before You Begin

This guide is for customers already using the Augusta x Indeed integration.

If your Augusta account is not yet connected to Indeed, follow our Indeed Integration setup guide first.

Depending on your Augusta account's user permissions, access to Indeed Settings may be limited to designated account managers.

If you do not have access to Indeed Settings, learn more about managing user access levels in Augusta or contact hello@augusta.care for assistance.

How to Enable Indeed Apply

Indeed Apply can be enabled directly from your Augusta Dashboard:

1. Sign in to your Augusta Dashboard.
2. Select Smart Posts.
   • 
3. Open the Indeed Settings tab.
   • 
4. Scroll to the Indeed Apply setting and toggle Indeed Apply ON.

   • 

5. Click Save Indeed Settings at the bottom of the page.

Once saved, your Augusta Smart Posts on Indeed will update within the next few hours to use Indeed Apply as the application method.

⚠️ Always manage Indeed Apply through Augusta

Indeed Apply should be enabled through your Augusta Indeed Settings so applications continue flowing correctly into Augusta.

Enabling Indeed Apply directly through Indeed will disconnect the job from the Augusta x Indeed integration.

What to Expect After Enabling Indeed Apply

Enabling Indeed Apply changes how the candidate applies, but it does not change how your team manages applicants in Augusta.

Indeed Apply

When Indeed Apply is enabled, candidates will see the Apply now option directly on Indeed and complete their application through Indeed Apply.

Smart Post Apply

When Indeed Apply is turned off, candidates will use Smart Post Apply and be directed to your Augusta Smart Post to complete their application.

Regardless of which application method you use, your existing Augusta recruiting workflow remains the same, including your:

• Smart Post application questions
• Qualification and screening rules
• Automated screening and interview booking workflows
• Screening and interview invitations and reminders
• Augusta integrations
• Applicant management workflow

Applicants will continue to populate inside your Augusta Dashboard, where your team can review and manage them as usual.

In short, Indeed Apply changes the candidate-facing application method. Your recruiting workflow continues in Augusta.

How to Turn Off Indeed Apply

If you want to switch your Augusta Smart Posts back to Smart Post Apply:

1. Go to Smart Posts in your Augusta Dashboard.
2. Open Indeed Settings.
3. Toggle Indeed Apply OFF.
4. Click Save Settings.

Your Augusta Smart Posts on Indeed will update within the next few hours to use Smart Post Apply.
