This guide walks Visiting Angels offices through setting up Augusta Smart Posts across your website and Indeed.

Once set up, you'll manage your caregiver job postings directly within Augusta. Your Smart Posts will appear on your Visiting Angels Careers page, automatically become eligible for Google for Jobs, and connect to your Indeed Employer Account through Augusta's Indeed integration.

1. Create Your Augusta Smart Posts

Start by creating the caregiver jobs you're actively hiring for.

1. Log in to your Augusta Dashboard.
2. Select Smart Posts.
3. Click New Smart Post.
4. Add your job information and publish your Smart Post.

📌 Tip: Create at least one Smart Post before updating your Visiting Angels Careers page so candidates have an active job to view once the website update is complete.

2. Add Augusta Smart Posts to Your Visiting Angels Careers Page

Visiting Angels Home Office manages your website, so you do not need to install the Augusta Smart Posts code yourself.

Instead, you'll copy your Augusta Smart Posts code from your dashboard and email it to Visiting Angels Home Office for implementation.

Copy Your Augusta Smart Posts Code

1. Log in to your Augusta Dashboard.
2. Click Smart Posts.
3. Click Add URL.
4. Select Add Smart Posts to your site in one step.
5. Click Copy Code.

Send Your Code to Visiting Angels Home Office

Once you've copied your Smart Posts code, send your request to:

Visiting Angels Home Office will handle the website implementation from there.

3. Connect Your Indeed Employer Account to Augusta

The next step is connecting your Indeed Employer Account to Augusta.

This allows Augusta to publish your Smart Posts to Indeed while connecting supported applicant and hiring outcome data between Augusta and Indeed.

Once you've completed your Indeed settings in Augusta, email hello@augusta.care so our team can help complete and verify the connection.

4. Close Out Other Caregiver Job Sources on Indeed

Before transitioning your caregiver jobs to Augusta on Indeed, make sure your existing caregiver postings are no longer being sent to Indeed from another source.

Visiting Angels offices may already have caregiver jobs publishing to Indeed through another recruiting system, ATS, or marketing partner.

Check for caregiver jobs coming from:

• Another ATS or recruiting platform, such as Hireology or Apploi
• Jobs posted manually through your Indeed Employer Account
• A third-party marketing or recruiting company posting jobs on your behalf

If another system is automatically sending caregiver jobs to Indeed, make sure those caregiver postings are paused or closed as you transition to Augusta.

This helps prevent duplicate caregiver jobs and ensures your jobs are aligned with Indeed's single-source job posting policies.

5. Sponsor Your Augusta Smart Posts on Indeed

Once your Augusta Smart Posts are connected and appearing within your Indeed Employer Account, you can sponsor them directly through Indeed to increase their visibility.

Your sponsorship and budget are managed directly through your Indeed Employer Account.
