If you're using JazzHR alongside Augusta, we recommend disabling JazzHR's automatic posting to free job boards.

This helps ensure your agency complies with Indeed's Single Source Feed Policy, which requires employers using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to avoid sending duplicate job feeds to Indeed from multiple systems.

You can continue using JazzHR for recruiting workflows, onboarding, reporting, or applicant management while allowing Augusta to be your single source for publishing jobs to Indeed.

Why Disable JazzHR Job Board Syndication?

If both Augusta and JazzHR are publishing the same caregiver jobs to Indeed, it creates multiple job sources for the same position.

This may result in:

• Duplicate job postings.
• Reduced job visibility.
• Indeed policy violations.
• Difficulty determining which job posting applicants are using.

Instead, we recommend:

• Use Augusta to publish caregiver jobs to Indeed.
• Use JazzHR for onboarding, reporting, or other internal recruiting workflows, if needed.

This gives Indeed a single source for your job postings while allowing you to continue using both platforms for the purposes they serve best.

Option 1: Close Jobs You No Longer Need

If you are no longer actively using JazzHR for recruiting, the simplest option is to close or archive your caregiver job postings.

This prevents JazzHR from syndicating those jobs to external job boards.

Option 2: Disable Automatic Job Board Posting

If you still need to keep your caregiver jobs open in JazzHR for onboarding, reporting, or internal workflows, you can disable automatic posting to free job boards.

1. Sign in to your JazzHR account.

2. Click Jobs from the top navigation menu.

3. Select the caregiver job you want to update.

   • 

4. Open the Promote tab.

   • 

5. Filter the available promotion options by Free.

   • 

6. Locate Post this job on free job boards?

   • Toggle this setting Off so it displays No.

   • 

7. Repeat these steps for each caregiver position that should no longer be syndicated to external job boards.

Important: JazzHR currently disables posting to all free job boards—not just Indeed. There is not a setting to disable Indeed individually.

Best Practices

• Use Augusta as your single source for publishing caregiver jobs to Indeed.
• Continue using JazzHR for onboarding, reporting, or other internal workflows if desired.
• Review newly created jobs to ensure free job board syndication remains disabled.
• Avoid publishing the same caregiver position to Indeed from multiple Applicant Tracking Systems.
