To increase the success of your Facebook recruiting efforts, in this article, we show you how to collect & send over your Meta Pixel so we can insert it into your Augusta application.
What is a Meta Pixel?
- The Meta Pixel is a piece of code that can be added to your Augusta application URL. To not only help you better understand the effectiveness of your Facebook advertising (How many people view your Augusta application) but to also increase your audience reach on Facebook by allowing Meta to collect data on those who have submitted their application & re-targeting more people that are most likely to engage with your application/ ads.
How to get your Meta Pixel
- Go to https://business.facebook.com/ & sign in to your Facebook business manager account
- Then click <Events Manager> on the left panel
- Once in your Events Manager page, click <Data Sources>

Find & click the data source (Meta Pixel) you want attached to your Augusta application.
- Note: You want this pixel used only for recruitment. This will ensure you are collecting clean recruitment data & mitigate the risk of your ads reaching people who are not interested in applying for your job.
- In your Meta Pixel data source page, click <settings>
- Then under the <Dataset ID> section, copy your Meta Pixel ID
- Once done, email the Pixel ID to Augusta so we can add it to your Augusta application.
