What Does the RingCentral Integration Do?

Once connected, recruiters can add applicants from Augusta into RingCentral with a single click.

After the contact has been added, the Message in RingCentral button opens that applicant's RingCentral conversation, allowing your recruiter to continue communicating through RingCentral.

All text messaging continues to take place inside RingCentral—Augusta simply makes getting there much faster.

How to Set Up the Integration

1. Create a RingCentral Developer Account

If you already have a RingCentral Developer account, you can skip to Step 2.

Otherwise:

1. Go to https://developers.ringcentral.com/
2. Click Sign In in the upper-right corner.
   • 
3. Sign in with your RingCentral account or create one if needed.
4. If prompted, accept the RingCentral API License Agreement by selecting Agree, then click Got it.
   • 
5. RingCentral may ask you, "First, tell us a bit about yourself." Since Augusta provides everything needed for the integration, simply click Skip in the upper-right corner.

2. Request Your Augusta Setup Link

Once your Developer account has been created, email hello@augusta.care and let us know you'd like to enable the RingCentral integration.

Our team will provide you with a unique setup link for your Augusta account.

3. Open Your Augusta Setup Link

Open the link provided by the Augusta Support team.

You'll be taken to a Credentials page within the RingCentral Developer Console.

4. Create Your Credentials

Under Label, enter: Augusta

Then click Create JWT.

5. Send Your JWT Token to Augusta

RingCentral will generate a JWT token.

Copy the entire token and email it to hello@augusta.care.

Our team will securely complete the remaining setup on your account.

6. You're Ready to Go

Once Augusta finishes the configuration, we'll let you know the integration is active.

You'll then be able to add applicants to RingCentral directly from their Augusta profile and launch their RingCentral conversation with a single click.

How to Use the Integration

Once your account has been connected:

1. Open an applicant inside Augusta.
2. Click Add as RingCentral Contact.

Augusta will create the applicant as a contact in RingCentral.

The button will temporarily change to:

After refreshing the applicant profile—or simply closing and reopening it—the button will become:

Message in RingCentral

Selecting this button opens that applicant's RingCentral conversation so you can immediately begin messaging them.

What to Expect

The current version of the integration is designed to simplify moving between Augusta and RingCentral.

Today:

• ✅ Applicants can be added directly to RingCentral from Augusta.
• ✅ Recruiters can open the applicant's RingCentral conversation directly from Augusta.
• ✅ All messaging continues inside RingCentral.

At this time:

• Augusta's automated messages (such as interview invitations and reminders) are not displayed inside RingCentral.
• Previous Augusta communication history is not synced into RingCentral.
• Messages sent in RingCentral are not displayed inside Augusta.

As we continue expanding the integration, we'll introduce additional capabilities to further streamline recruiter communication.
