The Augusta x RingCentral integration allows your recruiters to quickly open a candidate's RingCentral conversation directly from their Augusta profile.
If your agency uses RingCentral for recruiter-to-candidate communication, you can move from reviewing an applicant in Augusta to texting or calling them in RingCentral—without manually searching for or creating the contact.
Getting started is simple: Augusta can enable the RingCentral integration directly on your account. Once enabled, recruiters sign in with their existing RingCentral account the first time they use it.

What Does the RingCentral Integration Do?
The Augusta x RingCentral integration allows your recruiters to launch RingCentral directly from an applicant's Augusta profile.
With a single click, recruiters can open a RingCentral messaging window for that specific applicant without leaving the Augusta dashboard. From there, they can send text messages or place phone calls using their existing RingCentral account.
All communication continues to take place through RingCentral—Augusta simply makes it faster and easier to connect with applicants by eliminating the need to manually search for them or switch between systems.
How to Enable the RingCentral Integration
If your agency already uses RingCentral, getting connected is simple.
Email hello@augusta.care and let us know you'd like the RingCentral integration enabled for your Augusta account.
Our team will enable the integration and let you know when it's ready to use.
You do not need a RingCentral Developer account or JWT token to use the current RingCentral integration. Recruiters only need their existing RingCentral account to sign in and begin using the integration.
How to Use the Integration
Once the RingCentral integration has been enabled on your Augusta account:
- Open an applicant inside your Augusta dashboard.
-
Click Message in RingCentral from the applicant's profile.
-
The first time you use the integration, a pop-up window will prompt you to sign in to your RingCentral account.
-
When prompted to grant access, click Authorize to allow Augusta to connect with your RingCentral account securely.
- The RingCentral messaging window will open directly inside your Augusta dashboard for that applicant.
From there, you can:
- Send and receive text messages
- Place phone calls
- Continue communicating with the candidate using your existing RingCentral workflow
Note: You'll only need to authorize your RingCentral account the first time you use the integration. Future conversations can be launched directly from an applicant's Augusta profile.
Optional: Prepare for Future RingCentral Integration Capabilities
A RingCentral Developer account and JWT token are not required to use Augusta's current RingCentral integration.
However, Augusta may use these additional credentials to support more advanced RingCentral integration capabilities as the integration expands.
If you'd like to complete this setup now, you can follow the steps below. Otherwise, you can skip this section and continue using the current RingCentral integration normally.
1. Create a RingCentral Developer Account
If you already have a RingCentral Developer account, you can skip to Step 2.
Otherwise:
- Go to https://developers.ringcentral.com/
-
Click Sign In in the upper-right corner.
- Sign in with your RingCentral account or create one if needed.
-
If prompted, accept the RingCentral API License Agreement by selecting Agree, then click Got it.
-
RingCentral may ask, "First, tell us a bit about yourself." Since Augusta provides everything needed for the setup, click Skip in the upper-right corner.
2. Request Your Augusta Setup Link
Email hello@augusta.care and let us know you'd like to provide your RingCentral JWT credentials.
Our team will send you the unique setup link for your Augusta account.
3. Open Your Augusta Setup Link
Open the link provided by Augusta.
You'll be taken to the Credentials page within the RingCentral Developer Console.
4. Create Your Credentials
-
Under Label, enter: Augusta
-
Then click Create JWT.
5. Send Your JWT Token to Augusta
RingCentral will generate a JWT token.
-
Copy the entire token and email it to hello@augusta.care. Do NOT send a screenshot; we need you to send the complete JWT token.
Our team will securely connect the credentials to your Augusta account.
